There will be no Library session in June due to venue and volunteer availability. The Jubilee Bank Holiday falls on our usual 1st Friday of the month session date, and we are unable to reschedule venue/volunteers for another date in June. Next session will be on Friday 1st July. If you have a carrier on loan at present I will be messaging you over the weekend with renewal/return options.

If you need support from a sling library before then, nearest local providers are Sheffield Sling Surgery and Derby and Nottingham Sling Library.

Due to increased work and family commitments, our consultants have almost no capacity to offer 1:1 / private appointments at the moment. Please do contact us via the FB page or by email to kate@waystocarry.co.uk, but be aware that we may have to refer you on to other local providers.

In order to meet their running costs Hasland Village Hall have increased our session fee to a level which we cannot afford to pay (increased to 4x the current cost). Our last session there will be Friday 1st March.

So clumsy Kate has made a proper job of breaking her leg. Apologies for the cancellation of last Friday’s Holme Hall session. I’m now out of hospital but will be off my feet for a couple of months. Meeting with AJ and Erika tonight to work our what we’ll be doing to keep ‘my’ sessions…
